ZIMIS Brings Balkan Comfort Food and Pizza to Lincoln Square

ZIMIS, a family-run Balkan restaurant established in 2022, has settled into a new home at 5077 N Lincoln Ave in Lincoln Square after several years operating in Rogers Park. The restaurant held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening week at the Lincoln Avenue location in early September, relaunching its full menu with breakfast service alongside returning favorites.

The menu centers on Balkan comfort food and pizza, including qebapa, pleskavica, burek, and grilled specialties, alongside sandwiches and breakfast items. The restaurant’s outdoor patio is open for dine-in seating.

ZIMIS is open Tuesday through Sunday — 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday — and closed Mondays. Orders are also available for delivery through Uber Eats and Grubhub.
