14 Forty Bar & Grill has opened at 1440 S. Kedzie Ave. in North Lawndale, a neighborhood sports bar built around a backlit bar, booths for groups and a screen for every game. The space held its soft opening on September 12.
The kitchen serves starters, salads, handhelds, entrées and sides, including buffalo shrimp, wings and fried pickles to start and entrées such as ribeye steak, salmon and braised chicken. The bar pours signature cocktails alongside cold bottled beer and a full bar menu.
