Pressbox Brings Sports-Bar Energy to Printer’s Row

Pressbox has opened at 47 W Polk St in Printer’s Row, taking over the space in the historic Dearborn Station building formerly occupied by Bar Louie. The sports bar is a project of local owners LaKeisha Stephens and Erika Menefee.

The menu is built around game-day food and drink: PBX Bites for sharing, wings and tenders, burgers and other handhelds, and flatbreads, alongside beer on tap, cocktails, game-day drink buckets and a zero-proof section for non-drinkers.

The bar describes itself as a spot for watching Chicago sports, after-work drinks and nights that run late, and also takes bookings for private events, watch parties and full buyouts.

Pressbox is open Monday 6 p.m.–11 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday 3 p.m.–midnight, Friday 3 p.m.–1 a.m., Saturday 11 a.m.–2 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–midnight. Check current hours and the full menu at pressboxchi.com.
