Flaco’s Tacos has been serving the Printers Row neighborhood from its storefront at 725 S Dearborn St since 2008, making it one of the longer-running taquerias in the South Loop. The family-owned business, started by the Hebson family (also behind Hackney’s), now operates three Chicago locations: Printers Row, the Gold Coast, and Edgewater.
The menu centers on scratch-made Mexican food: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and tamales, along with hand-mashed guacamole and house-made red and green salsas. Catering trays, including quesadilla platters, nacho bars and taco bars, are also available for order ahead.
