Silk Road of Chicago has been serving Chinese food from its Loop storefront on Adams Street for about two decades, a run long enough that the restaurant counts regulars who still come downtown specifically for its spicy chicken.
The menu runs through familiar Chinese-American staples made to order in an open kitchen: spicy chicken, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, pepper steak, house special shrimp, egg rolls and crab rangoon, along with fried rice and noodle dishes. The restaurant also caters corporate lunches and events in the Loop.
