Jimmy’s Famous Burgers serves hand-formed burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, wings and hand-cut fries at 5042 S. Cottage Grove Ave., in the Hyde Park/Bronzeville area. The counter-service restaurant says its food is “nothing frozen, ever,” with patties and other items made to order.
The menu includes a Philly cheesesteak with ribeye, onions, peppers and melted provolone ($13.99), hand-breaded chicken tenders ($10.99), and wings and baskets tossed fresh with ranch ($14.99), along with never-frozen beef burgers, hand-cut fries and shakes.
