The Robey Anchors Wicker Park’s Six Corners with Art Deco Rooms, a Tiki Bar and a Rooftop Pool

The Robey occupies the 1929 Art Deco Northwest Tower at the six corners of North, Milwaukee and Damen avenues, anchoring the border between Wicker Park and Bucktown. The 89-room boutique hotel pairs Tower Rooms in the landmark high-rise with 20 loft-style Annex rooms in an adjoining converted 1905 warehouse, with original details including hardwood floors and exposed concrete and brick.

Ground-floor Café Robey serves all-day brunch, coffee bar drinks and dishes such as avocado toast and buttermilk pancakes (7am-9pm Sunday-Thursday, 7am-10pm Friday-Saturday). Clever Coyote, a 90s-themed cocktail lounge inside the hotel, pours tiki-style drinks and bar food alongside pool tables and arcade games (5pm-11pm Sunday-Thursday, 5pm-1am Friday-Saturday, with a daily happy hour from 5-7pm). The sixth-floor rooftop pool bar Solana serves tropical cocktails and street tacos in season; it is currently closed for the winter and set to reopen in the spring.

Other amenities include valet parking, complimentary Tokyobikes for guests, in-room massage, and access to a nearby gym. More information, room types and reservations are at therobey.com.
