The StopAlong, at 1812 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Bucktown, is a pizza-and-burger spot with a full bar, done up in a bright yellow, 1980s-and-’90s-inspired style. Its Instagram bio sums it up as “pizza, burgers & beer right off the 606.”
The menu centers on New York-style thin-crust pizza and griddled burgers, including the Stop-In, a double cheeseburger with caramelized onions, pickles and Thousand Island dressing. Garlic knots and fries round out the sides, and the bar pours craft beer, wine and cocktails. A sidewalk patio with yellow chairs sits out front.
The restaurant is locally run and also has a second location in Logan Square, at 2210 N. California Ave. The Milwaukee Avenue spot is posted as open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is closed Mondays.
