Milly’s Pizza in the Pan sells pan-style pizzas from 3409 N. Broadway in Lake View. It is the second Chicago location of the pizzeria, which started in 2020 and also has a shop on Ashland Avenue in West Town.
The menu centers on pies with caramelized edges, built around toppings such as Calabrian chilies, ricotta, Peppadew peppers and house sauces. Named pizzas include Tom’s Killing (vodka sauce, pepperoni, everything bagel spice, red onion, chili crunch, ricotta and basil), Only Pans (pepperoni, Peppadew peppers, Flory tomato, ricotta, Calabrian chili honey and pesto) and No Comply (red sauce, nduja, ricotta, saba syrup and Parmigiano-Reggiano). Pizzas come in 10-inch and 14-inch sizes, and there is a build-your-own cheese option. A 14-inch Detroit-style pie, the Killtaker, is also listed.
The restaurant makes a limited number of pizzas each day, so it recommends ordering ahead through its website for pickup or delivery. The Lake View page lists hours of 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday closed. The shop’s phone number is 224-656-4732.
