Craft & Carvery has opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 2101 W North Ave in Wicker Park, after a stint inside the now-closed Time Out Market Chicago. The restaurant serves brick-oven pizza, handcrafted sandwiches and a carving station offering meats by the half-pound.
The sandwich menu includes a Brisket Melt, a Mushroom Melt, and a line of panuozzo sandwiches filled with porchetta, mortadella or chicken parm. The kitchen also turns out 13-inch and 16-inch brick-oven pizzas and handmade pastas such as pappardelle Bolognese and baked mezzi rigatoni, alongside a carving station serving brisket and porchetta by the half-pound.
Brunch and coffee service round out the menu on Sundays. Craft & Carvery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; it is closed Monday and Tuesday.
