Deep Purpl Opens Açaí Bowl Shop in the South Loop

Deep Purpl, the Chicago-based açaí bowl and smoothie chain, has opened at 31 E Roosevelt Rd in the South Loop, in the storefront most recently occupied by Sip & Savor and, before that, a Starbucks.

The menu centers on açaí bowls and smoothies in several sizes, topped with options such as granola, fresh fruit, peanut butter, chia seeds and cacao nibs, alongside Argentine-style empanadas and toast.

The South Loop location is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with pickup, delivery and online ordering through the Deep Purpl website.

The shop is one of more than a dozen Deep Purpl locations now open across Chicago, the North Shore and beyond. Current hours and ordering for the Roosevelt Road location are posted on the company’s site and by phone at 312-999-7695.
