Groundswell Coffee Roasters Opens in the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue

Groundswell Coffee Roasters has opened a cafe on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building at 410 S. Michigan Ave., with windows facing Michigan Avenue and Grant Park. The Chicago roaster, founded in 2015, also runs cafes in Ravenswood at 4839 N. Damen Ave. and in the West Loop at 1168 W. Madison St.

The Michigan Avenue cafe serves Groundswell’s locally roasted coffee along with a roast made only for this location, the Groundswell x Fine Arts Building blend. The menu covers espresso drinks and brewed coffee, breakfast burritos, all-day sandwiches and pastries from the Chicago bakery Good Ambler.

The cafe sits beside the building’s arched main entrance, steps from the Studebaker Theater and the artists’ studios upstairs. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
