Hands On Thai & Sushi, a BYOB neighborhood restaurant at 5056 W Irving Park Rd in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood, has served a contemporary style of Thai food and sushi since 2011. The Irving Park Road location operates alongside a second Hands On restaurant at 7117 W. Addison St.
The Irving Park Road location recently moved toward what the restaurant calls an “Asian Kitchen” concept, adding new Asian bowls and appetizers to the menu. After requests from regular customers, it has also brought back a selection of sushi rolls; the full original sushi menu continues to be served at the Addison Street location. The restaurant also offers catering, including chef-prepared trays and private celebrations for 20 to 60 guests, along with online ordering for pickup and delivery.
