Kermess Brings a Spiegeltent Dinner Show to Randolph Street in the Loop

Kermess, a new live entertainment venue built around a century-old Belgian Spiegeltent, opens October 15 on the 14th floor of 32 W Randolph St in the Loop Theatre District. The 300-seat room sits above the Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop, next door to the James M. Nederlander Theatre; guests enter through the hotel and take the elevator to Floor 14.

The opening program is Premonitions Inc., a 21+ circus and fortune-telling cabaret that runs about 90 minutes. Performances are scheduled Thursday through Sunday, mostly at 7:30 p.m., with some Sunday shows at 5:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. Every ticket includes reserved table seating, in three tiers: Classic ($89), Preferred ($119) and VIP ($149).

Food and drinks are not included in the ticket. Cocktails, dinner and sweets are ordered à la carte with table service during the show, and the Kermess Lounge opens one hour before and stays open one hour after each performance. Admission is by advance reservation only. The venue also books group tables and private events, from company nights to full buyouts.

Kermess is the Chicago home of Circensia Entertainment Group, which also runs Circensia Studio and Circensia Foundation in Miami. Showtimes, tickets and the menu are on the Kermess website.
