Lucia’s Gourmet Italian Cuisine has been serving Wicker Park from the corner of North Avenue and Honore Street for more than two decades, combining a walk-up deli counter with a sit-down dining room in the same storefront under the green “Lucia’s” awnings.
The deli side serves made-to-order hot and cold Italian sandwiches, including its signature meatball sub, alongside pastas, soups, salads and desserts like tiramisu, semifreddo and panna cotta. The dining room in back offers a fuller Italian-Mediterranean menu, from bruschetta and calamari to seafood pastas and grilled entrees, and is BYOB.
Catering is also part of the business, which operates under the name Lucia’s Gourmet Catering and More. Food is available for pickup or delivery through Grubhub, UberEats and DoorDash in addition to in-house dining.
The deli is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the dining room is open Monday through Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. More at luciaschicago.com or by calling the restaurant directly.
