Nurturing Niche Lincoln Park, a Reggio Emilia-inspired nursery and preschool, operates at 2907 N. Halsted St. in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview East area. It’s one of three Chicago campuses run by Nurturing Niche, which also has a location in Humboldt Park and a Nido infant program in Logan Square.
The Halsted Street campus enrolls children from six weeks through five years old across four classrooms: Nesters for infants, Twitters for toddlers, Robins for two-year-olds, capped at seven children per room, and Blue Jays for preschoolers.
The curriculum follows the Reggio Emilia approach and is enriched with Italian and Spanish classes, music enrichment through Tiny Tunes Studio, garden walks, and an annual Reggio Expo and family cultural celebration. An in-house cook prepares meals following federal Child and Adult Care Food Program nutrition guidelines.
