Pizza Lobo serves New York-style pizza from a renovated former 7-Eleven at 5457 N. Clark St., at the corner of Clark Street and Catalpa Avenue in Andersonville. The dough is three-day fermented sourdough, giving the pies a thin, foldable crust, and pizza is available whole or by the slice.
The menu runs from a plain cheese slice to specialty 16-inch pies such as the Borgata, Manhattan, Spicy Meatball, Coal Miner and Bianca, alongside starters like crispy cauliflower, garlic knots and wings, salads, and desserts including a chocolate chip cookie and lemon honey fried dough.
The space has an outdoor patio with fire pits and bocce ball, plus a full bar of beer, wine and cocktails. Pizza Lobo first opened in Logan Square in 2020 and has since added the Andersonville and West Loop locations. More at pizzalobo.com.
