Shuga Records operates a storefront at 3306 W. Armitage Ave. in Logan Square, in addition to its original location at 1272 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park. The Armitage Avenue store doubles as a retail shop and the warehouse for the company’s online and wholesale vinyl business.
The shop sells new and used vinyl LPs, CDs and cassettes across genres including rock, punk, indie, hip-hop, EDM, shoegaze, psychedelic, noise, metal and neo soul, along with collectible and hard-to-find pressings. Shuga Records also buys used records, CDs and cassettes from sellers at the store.
Beyond retail, Shuga Records operates as an independent record label and hosts in-store events such as listening parties, artist signings and album release celebrations. shugarecords.com lists current inventory and upcoming events for both locations.
