TAAN Brings Seasonal Thai Fare and Wine to Humboldt Park

TAAN, a Thai restaurant and wine bar, is open at 2759 W. Augusta Blvd. in Humboldt Park. The restaurant serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m., and is closed Sunday and Monday.

The kitchen is led by chef Chanita Chayaluk, a native Chicagoan trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok. The seasonal menu pairs Thai recipes with Midwest produce; dishes have included miang of trout with candied tamarind sauce, grilled pork loin in panang curry, green curry with mussels, stir-fried Brussels sprouts, and a whole fried fish finished with fish sauce caramel, alongside a full wine list.
