Tavern on Rush serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus weekend brunch, from the ground and second floor of the Thompson Chicago hotel at 1015 N. Rush St. in the Gold Coast. The steakhouse spans two levels with a main dining room, a cocktail lounge, a marble-topped bar and an outdoor patio along Rush Street.
The menu centers on USDA prime aged steaks and chops alongside fresh seafood, a seafood tower and daily specials, with Stefani signature pasta dishes rounding out the kitchen’s lineup. The bar pours an extensive wine list along with cocktails such as the Oaxacan on Rush and the Pineapple Express.
The restaurant carries forward a Rush Street name that ran for 25 years at 1031 N. Rush St. before relocating a few blocks north. Tavern on Rush operates today from the Thompson Chicago building, a 16,000-square-foot space that also includes private event rooms.
