Zen Dogs Chicago, a dog daycare, training and boarding company based on Fulton Street in West Town, also operates a location at 2409 N. Western Ave., at the corner of Western and Fullerton in Logan Square. The Western Avenue location offers enrichment daycare and a weekday delivery service for members; boarding is not yet available there, according to the company’s website.
Daycare at Zen Dogs runs on a membership model, with dogs evaluated for social suitability and current on vaccinations before joining. The company describes its daycare as built around supervised group play and enrichment activities rather than simple kenneling.
Zen Dogs Chicago’s training approach, described on its website, centers on building “a true connection” between dogs and owners through consistency and calm handling rather than strict obedience drills. The company is owned by Cynthia Russell.
The Logan Square location is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. More information, including membership pricing, is available at zendogschicago.com or by phone at (312) 226-2222.
