A Facebook video posting of a deadly attack on a 62-year-old man collecting cans in a Chicago alley last week led to murder charges against a teenager whose cellphone camera was used to record the incident, officials said Sunday.

Malik Jones, 16, of Chicago, was charged late Saturday with first-degree murder in the death of Delfino Mora, a father of 12, near Mora’s home in the West Rogers Park neighborhood, police said. Jones, who was charged as an adult and who turns 17 Tuesday, was ordered held without bail Sunday by Cook County Circuit Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr.
