Emerald Loop Bar & Grill operates at 216 N. Wabash Ave. in the Loop, inside the 35 E. Wacker Drive building near the Chicago Theatre and the Riverwalk. The Irish-American bar and grill is part of Chicago’s Vaughan Hospitality Group, which also runs Vaughan’s Pub.
The menu lists Irish-leaning mains such as fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash and an all-day Irish breakfast, alongside burgers, sandwiches, wraps and a five-cheese mac and cheese. Shared plates include an Irish sausage roll, an Irish spice bag, Irish curry chips, Wisconsin cheese curds and bone-in or tender wings in flavors such as Guinness BBQ and garlic parmesan.
The bar pours a rotating draft list anchored by Guinness, Smithwick’s and Harp, a wine and bourbon selection, and a cocktail menu that includes a nitro espresso martini and a Dublin sour. Weekday lunch runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a $13 wrap special, and brunch is served on weekends.
