Miller’s Pub has been serving the Loop since 1935, operating today from its longtime home at 134 S. Wabash Ave. The restaurant and bar is known for dark wood booths, stained glass, antique oil paintings and a 50-foot bar, with walls lined with photos of regulars and public figures who have stopped in over the decades.
The kitchen’s best-known dish is its BBQ baby back ribs, alongside prime rib, burgers, buffalo wings and a classic Tom and Jerry served around the holidays. The bar pours a full cocktail list and a wide beer selection, with martinis and Old Fashioneds among the regulars’ orders.
Family-owned for decades, Miller’s Pub moved to its current Wabash Avenue address in 1989 and underwent a 2018 remodel that expanded the dining room while keeping its historic look. More on the restaurant’s history and menu is on its official website.
Miller’s Pub serves food daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, with the bar open until 2 a.m. Current hours, the full menu and reservations are available at millerspub.com or by calling (312) 263-4988.
