Pretty Cool Ice Cream is a frozen-treat shop at 2353 N. California Ave. in Logan Square. Instead of scoops, it makes ice cream bars, vegan pops, ice pops and ice cream sandwiches by hand.
The company was founded in 2018 by pastry chef Dana Cree and Michael Ciapciak, and says it has made more than 1.5 million pops in over 300 flavors. This summer it teamed up with the Chicago Transit Authority on limited-edition CTA line-themed pops sold exclusively at the Logan Square shop from July 3 through August 31.
The shop also takes catering and event orders, from birthday parties to larger gatherings, through the events and catering page.
Pretty Cool lists its hours as noon to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Check the official site for current hours and online ordering.
