Sip & Savor is a coffeehouse at 5301 S Hyde Park Blvd in Hyde Park, one of several locations the Chicago-born coffee group runs on the South Side, including spots in Bronzeville and Forest Park. The cafe, whose sign reads “Where Coffee and Community Meet,” sources certified fair-trade coffee and tea from around the world.
The menu runs from drip coffee and espresso to specialty drinks such as the Bull Frog Mocha, made with chocolate sauce, peppermint syrup, espresso and whipped cream, plus frappes, blended drinks, teas and pastries from local bakeries, with vegan and vegetarian options available. The Hyde Park location also serves beer and wine.
The space seats up to 50 and is laptop-friendly with Wi-Fi, outdoor seating and reservations for groups; it can also be booked for private events. More at sipandsavorchicago.com.
