New app, Dablr, lets you post everyday tasks and connect with someone to get them done for a price you choose.

A new app available in Chicago, Dablr, allows you to post everyday tasks that you can’t or don’t want to do, for a price you choose.

Everyday tasks such as moving, lawn care, painting, are all examples of things you can post. Tasks such as “Run a cotton candy station” or “Watch my Guinea Pig” are also things that have been posted. Dablr is a different kind of platform, as they they don’t play “match-maker” like TaskRabbit or Takl – it’s a similar type of system as Craigslist. Post your task, along with how much you want to pay, locals in your area get notified, and anyone interested contacts you directly through the app.

The ability to rate and review your users adds a level of safety never seen on a platform like Craigslist. You can view ratings from a user’s prior jobs, as well as any reviews people have left. Every user must maintain at least 4 out of 5 stars, or the company will remove that user.

Dablr is available on the App Store and Google Play. With the ability to find local help in a matter of minutes, it’s sure to make life a bit easier.
