LeMars, Ia. — Ron Paul used his first campaign appearance of the day here to fight back against the claim that his foreign policy views are “dangerous.”
Fellow GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum leveled that criticism against the congressman this morning during a FOX News interview.
“When government gets too big” — that’s dangerous, the 76-year-old Texan told a crowd of 200 in LeMars.
He chuckled as he offered his audience members a tongue-in-cheek advisory about the contents of his stump speech.
“I will be talking a lot about personal liberty and our Constitution, but I will warn you, it’s been described as a ‘very dangerous’ philosophy,” Paul said.
